Former Japan coach Okada named Yokohama manager

TOKYO, Japan - Former Japan coach Takeshi Okada (file photo) was named Dec. 4 the new manager of J-League first-division side Yokohama F Marinos for the 2003 season. Okada led Japan to their first-ever World Cup soccer appearance in 1998 and coached J-League club Consadole Sapporo for three seasons from 1999.
